hands on practice with emphasis on safety,

sanitation, and therapeutic techniques. Hot stones,

cold stones, and energy work application with stones

is discussed and practiced. With plenty of hands on

practice, this class prepares the massage therapist to

perform a complete Hot Stone massage.

Explore the power of touch as you learn and experience this unique art of energy re-balancing and deep (yet gentle) release of muscular tension and armoring.  Jin Shin Do Bodymind Acupressure is a body-mind release method using gentle, direct pressure on the Chinese acu-points to release stress and muscular tension, reduce pain and discomfort, increase self-awareness, and re-establish energic balance in the mind and body.  In its most basic form, it is simple and easy for anyone to learn and use.  In the hands of a skilled and sensitive practitioner, it can be a powerful, profoundly effective and transformative tool.  Its versatility is also unsurpassed in incorporating it with any other modality.

This facial works with the main neck points, called “Windows of the Sky,” as well as with other points on the face and head, releasing tension and aiding circulation of  ”Qi” up and down the body, to open the “windows.”.  It was originally developed for cosmetologists, uses only points on the face, head, neck, arms and hands. Wonderfully relaxing!

Kaleo Wheeler is the director of HeartFull Connections ™.  She is a body/mind/spirit integration teacher and facilitator and a sound and vibrational healer and teacher.  She has over 25 years of professional training and experience in private practice and in teaching and facilitating groups through the US and Canada.  This includes teaching at healing centers, massage schools including the Cayce/Reilly Massage of Masage in Virginia Beach VA, the Omega Institute in Rheinbeck NY, Shenandoah University in Virginia and the East Tennessee State University in Tennessee.  Everything she does is about helping to heal the Human Condition by helping you to reconnect and remember to draw from your highest and most loving self when making decisions in your life.  Since the early 80′s she has worked with various ancient spiritual traditions as well as several modern bodymind integration techniques.  She has been a Jin Shin Do Bodymind Acupressure licensed senior teacher and registered acupressurist since 1988, teaching workshops and trainings in Jin Shin Do.  She is a contributing author of the book, The Complete Guide to Acupressure and has been published in magazines, including the Women’s Voice.
